i build things with code, mostly around applied ai. my research focuses on memory systems.
before that: a kid in hanoi who was kinda into maths, then a student in australia who got too into everything else - ai, quant, and lately startups. the maths turned into code at some point, and i've mostly followed whatever seemed interesting since.

spent the summer at canva, working on ai for design relayout.
started researching visual counting with prof. minh hoai nguyen.
joined the mit adelaide living lab to research backdoor attacks in ai models with dr. tobin south.
joined aiml for summer research on 4d medical imaging with dr. antonios perperidis.
started studying computer science at the university of adelaide.
won a meritorious prize in the international mathematical modeling challenge.
won third prize in the vietnam national mathematical olympiad.
